ASUS has introduced ZenPower, the company’s first 9600mAh portable power bank in Taiwan. It was originally introduced at the CES last month only to selected media and competes with Xiaomi’s 10400mAh power bank. It even looks similar to the Xiaomi Mi power bank. It weighs 215 grams and is 18mm thick, slightly lighter and thinner than the Mi 10400mAh power bank that weighs 250g and is 21.6mm thick. Other dimensions are almost similar. Asus PadFone Mini was launched in India for Rs 15,999 in November 2014. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) smartphone that docks into a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) Padfone station. Powered by 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom (Z2560) processor, it was launched running on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and got the Android KitKat update later. Asus has announced Zenfone C (ZC451CG), the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Zenfone series in Malaysia. It has almost similar specifications as the Asus Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that was launched last year, but the camera has been downgraded to 5-megapixel and the battery has been upgraded to 2100mAh. Asus has announced the launch of All-in-one PC ET2040INK in India. The PC comes with a 19.5” HD display and is powered by Intel Pentium Processor J2900.
ASUS Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 smartphones received a price cut in India earlier this month. Now ASUS has released a new 8GB variant of the Zenfone 5 (A501CG) to Rs. 7,999 for Republic Day. The Zenfone 5 was launched for Rs. 9,999 last year and got a price cut to Rs. 9,499 earlier this month. According to ASUS, this new variant has 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Z2520 Processor, but it retains the same 2GB RAM and 5-inch HD display, unlike 1GB RAM and 5-inch qHD display in the Zenfone 5 Lite. ASUS has launched the Fonepad 8 (FE380CG), the company’s latest tablet in the Fonepad series with dual SIM support, 3G and voice calling capabilities. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 5.06mm narrow bezel bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%, is powered by a 1.33 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR Series 6 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Zen UI. Asus has announced Fonepad 7 (FE171CG), a refreshed variant of last year’s Fonepad 7 at the CES this year. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, similar to the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG that was launched in India last year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, comes with a 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB or 2GB RAM depending on the region. Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 smartphone have received a price cut in India. The Zenfone 4 (A400CG) was launched in India for Rs. 5,999 last year and the Zenfone 5 was launched for Rs. 9,999 for 8GB and Rs. 12,999 for 16GB. There is no price cut for the Zenfone 4 (A450CG), which still retails Rs. 6,999. The Zenfone series received Android 4.4 (KitKat) update last year. Check out the new pricing below. ASUS along with the ZenFone 2 has announced ZenFone Zoom at its event in Las Vegas. ASUS CEO Jonney Shih during his presentation showcased the company’s latest camera phone.

ASUS has taken wraps of its latest ZenFone 2 smartphone at its dedicated CES 2015 event in Las Vegas. The company’s chairman also announced that they are now shipping over 1.5 million ZenFone smartphones a month.
ASUS ZenFone 2 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and comes with a 72% screen-to-body ration, which means that the display occupies more space in the body rather the bezels.
