Earlier this year, Apple introduced ‘Apple Card’ a new kind of credit card that is built into the Apple Wallet app on the iPhone as well as a physical credit card. The preview program invitation started rolling out to a few customers earlier this month. Now, after rolling out the preview program, Apple is officially rolling out Apple Card for all US customers.

Apple removed Touch ID fingerprint authentication in favor of Face ID 3D facial recognition technology on iPhone X back in 2017, and it didn’t make a come back in last year’s iPhone XS series. Now, according to a new note from Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will introduce an iPhone equipped with both Face ID and in-screen fingerprint sensor in 2021.

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $53.8 billion, up 0.93% over last year with a net profit of $10 billion, down 13% YoY and earnings per diluted share of $2.18, down 7% for the financial year Q3 2019 that ended June 29, 2019. After reports, Apple and Intel have confirmed that Apple will acquire the majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a transaction valued at $1 billion. Approximately 2,200 Intel employees will join Apple, along with intellectual property, equipment and leases. Intel closed its 5G modem business in April this year after Apple and Qualcomm announced a settlement and prior to this, Intel became the sole third-party provider of modems of the iPhones launched in 2018.
