Apple has increased the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5S smartphones in India. The increase price could be the result of increase in excise duty on mobile phones imported into India, which was increased to 12.5% from existing 6% in the recent Union Budget. Apple has started sending invites for its Spring forward event before the Apple Watch goes on sale in April. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The Apple Watch was announced in September last year along with the new iPhones and will come in two different sizes, three different styles – the regular model, a Sport version aimed at active consumers, and an ultra-premium Apple Watch Edition which will be covered in 18-karat gold.
