Latest Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 teaser highlights the smartphone’s large 18:9 display
We already know the Xiaomi is all set to launch the most expected Redmi Note 5 smartphone in India on February 14th. Earlier teasers did not have any hints. Today the company has posted a new teaser highlighting the smartphone’s large 18:9 aspect ratio high pixel density screen, which hints at a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 full-screen display found in the Redmi 5 Plus. Xiaomi Mi 4i gets final MIUI 9.2 update
Xiaomi launched the Mi 4i back in 2015 MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). MIUI v8.5.3 was the last update for the above mentioned devices which company rolled out a few months back, and company decided to skip MIUI 9.0 update for the phone. Earlier this week the company started rolling out MIUI 9.2 Global Beta Stable update to the phone and, the main highlights of MIUI 9.2 include Interactive and Fresh UI changes, New Gallery App, Calendar Cards, App Vault, Mi Video App, New Mi Explorer.

Xiaomi keeps improving shopping experience on its Mi online store. Back in December it introduced Tez payment support, last month it introduced smart delivery for flexible pick-ups. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 launching in India on February 14 exclusively on Flipkart
Earlier this week Xiaomi sent out invites for an event on February 14th, where it is expected to launch the Redmi 5 or Redmi Note 5 smartphone. Today Flipkart has confirmed that it will launch exclusively with them. Last year’s Redmi Note 4 was launched exclusively on Flipkart, and in a new tweet Flipkart has tagged Gaurav Kapur and said “Looks like everyone is excited about @XiaomiIndia’s all-rounder that’s a 5/5”, with similar “all-rounder” tag as Redmi Note 4 that was launched by Ravindra Jadeja, so we can expected the Redmi Note 5 to launch next week. Xiaomi Amazfit BIP smartwatch with 45 days battery life, GPS, multi-sport tracking goes global, priced at $99
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Huami introduced its Amazfit BIP smartwatch in China back in August last year. Now the company has launched the smartwatch in the U.S. It has a 1.28-inch always-on color touch display and promises over 30 days of battery life with normal use or up to 45 days with minimal notifications on a single charge. It has GPS, barometer, heart rate sensor and 3-axis accelerometer for activity, sports and sleep tracking. Xiaomi India just sent out press invites for the launch of its first product of 2018 in India on February 14th. The invite just has the number ‘5’ along with the date, so it could be the Redmi 5 series that was introduced in China back in December last year or the company might surprise us with the Redmi Note 5. Xiaomi Redmi 5A Rose Gold variant launched in India, available from today starting at Rs. 4999
After teasers, Xiaomi has launched the Rose Gold variant of the Redmi 5A smartphone. The smartphone was introduced back in November last year in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colors, but only the Gold and Grey color variants of the smartphone went on sale starting from December. Earlier this month the company said that it has sold over 1 million or 10 lakh units of Redmi 5A smartphones in India.

Xiaomi opens its first Mi Home Store in Coimbatore
Xiaomi today announced that it has opened its first Mi Home Store in Coimbatore. This is the third Mi Home store in Tamil Nadu, after two Mi Home Stores in Chennai, and it is the 21st Mi Home Store in India after Mi Home stores in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Madhya Pradesh. It has also silently opened its 22nd store in Indore.
