Intex Cloud X3 Benchmarks

Intex launched the Cloud X3, an affordable Android smartphone for Rs. 3790 running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) recently. We brought you the unboxing recently, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6572 chip with Mali-400 MP GPU that has integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, 256MB of RAM and comes with dual SIM support with dual standby.

iBall Andi 4a Projector a new projector phone with 4-inch display, dual-core processor coming soon

iBall had been teasing their projector phone for over a week. The iBall Andi 4a Projector has appeared on the official website. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) display, powered by 1 GHz Dual-Core Cortex A9 Processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel Auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video calling. It has 35 lumens projector that allows users to project  digital media instantly up to 10 feet or 120-inch wide at a distance of 8 feet in VGA (480 x 640 pixels) resolution. Netgear Push2TV PTV3000 Unboxing and Miracast Demo

Miracast is a wireless screencast standard that aims to be an open alternative to Apple’s AirPlay. With certified devices, the technology works over a peer-to-peer WiFi Direct connection and mirrors everything on your screen on to compatible devices, like for example, your TV. There are many devices that support the Miracast standard and one of them is the Netgear Push2TV that we bought recently. It supports not one but two wireless screencasting standards – Miracast for many Smartphones and Tablets, and Intel WiDi for the new range of ultrabooks. MTV India and Swipe Telecom has partnered once again to launch the MTV Slate, a 7.85-inch device in Swipe’s Tablet series. It has a  7.85-inch IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera and packs a 3200 mAh battery. It has SIM card slot that lets you make voice calls.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, a variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that was announced earlier this year. It has a 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3-megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes only in Wi-Fi variant with 8GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 vs Lenovo K900

Samsung is undoubtedly one of the front runners of the Android race while Lenovo are catching up with them fast. Samsung has been looking to expand its Galaxy portfolio and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a result of company’s interest in the 6inch+ category while the Lenovo K900 is Lenovo’s current flagship powered by an Intel processor.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was launched at the end of May in Indian while the Lenovo K900 has been available since June although it had been announced way back in January earlier this year. Despite being different devices of different capabilities, they are priced almost similarly and lets check out which of the two performs better.

LG released a teaser video for its upcoming LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. Though the video had little to do with the tablet, it was about various people talking what they use their tablet for and what would make them use it more. The theme of the teaser goes by “What would make a tablet just right for you?”. The new LG G Pad is expected to be announced at the IFA in early September.

Gionee GPad G3 with a 5.5-inch display coming soon

Gionee GPad G3, successor of the GPad G2 is coming soon says Gionee. The company shared an image of the device on their Facebook page, saying that it would come with a 5.5-inch display. It did not reveal the display resolution or any other details. According to rumors the phone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch (854 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Oppo reveals N1 smartphone’s rear touch features, new images leak

Oppo already revealed that they were working on the flagship camera-centric devices dubbed the N-lens, later the name was confirmed as the N1 and leaked renders surfaced recently. Oppo started teasing the N1 last week with some details hinting at the rear touch panel and also revealed that the flagship phone would launch in September. Xolo has launched the Q1000S, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the Q Core series. We reported about the device back in July and Xolo started teasing about the device on their Facebook page earlier this week. It has  a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display at 295 PPI based on one-glass solution (OGS) technology and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) similar to the Q1000 that was launched back in May.
