At CES 2026, Lenovo introduced a new personal ambient intelligence system designed to provide consistent, context-aware assistance across devices.
Branded as Lenovo Qira on Lenovo products and motorola Qira on motorola devices, the platform delivers system-level AI that operates across PCs, tablets, smartphones, wearables, and more without requiring users to open separate applications.
Lenovo Qira: Ambient Intelligence Across Devices
Lenovo Qira represents a shift from app-based AI to system-level intelligence that is always present, understanding context and providing assistance based on user activity and preferences. Over time, it learns patterns, anticipates needs, and acts across devices while maintaining user privacy and consent.
Key Features
- One Intelligence Across Devices: Lenovo Qira provides a uniform AI experience across Lenovo and motorola products, maintaining continuity across screens, tasks, and environments.
- Presence: Integrated at the system level, Qira adapts to user preferences. It can proactively suggest actions, respond when invoked, or remain idle until needed. Users can interact via voice (“Hey, Qira”), a dedicated key, or a persistent on-screen control.
- Actions: Qira can perform tasks across applications and devices, coordinate agents, and move workflows forward, including offline operations, without requiring manual input for each step.
- Perception: Combining user interactions, documents, and memories, Qira develops a context-aware model of the user’s environment. Cross-device sensing ensures continuity and understanding of personal patterns.
- Designed Around Real Moments: Experiences are structured around common user needs to maintain orientation, productivity, and workflow across devices.
- Next Move: Provides proactive, contextual suggestions to help users progress without extra steps.
- Write For Me: Assists in composing emails, messages, notes, or documents directly on the user’s canvas, adapting to tone and intent without switching applications.
- Live Interaction: Supports real-time multimodal collaboration, monitoring speech and visuals during screen or camera sharing for smooth interaction.
- Catch Me Up: Summarizes activity from when a user was away, highlights relevant updates, and facilitates re-entry into tasks or conversations.
- Pay Attention: Provides real-time transcription, translation, and meeting summaries, enabling quick recall of key decisions or details.
For focused creative tasks, Creator Zone on PCs allows users to work with visuals and photos with minimal distractions and controlled workflow.

Availability
Lenovo Qira will be available on select Lenovo devices starting in Q1 2026, followed by motorola Qira on supported motorola smartphones. Existing Lenovo AI Now users will receive over-the-air updates, with broader expansion planned in later stages.
Speaking on the launch, Dan Dery, VP of AI Ecosystem at Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, said:
Lenovo Qira is not just another assistant, it’s a new way intelligence appears across your devices. Our goal is to make AI feel less like a tool you use and more like an intelligence that works with you, continuously and naturally.
