Windows 11 Insider Preview Build update adds Microsoft Teams Chat app, new Snipping tool, updated Microsoft Store and more

Microsoft is currently conducting their public testing for Windows 11 via the Insider Preview Build on both the beta and dev channels. The latest Insider Preview Build 22000.132 brings updates to a number of apps in Windows, adds the Chat from Microsoft Teams app, and a lot of bug fixes.

With the new Chat app from Microsoft Teams, users can experience one-to-one and group audio and video calling, along with the ability to share their screen, chat and see people’s video in a gallery view.

The Microsoft Store received a few UI updates such as auto-scrolling on Spotlight, new gaming PDP (product detail page) design, and the new Ratings and Reviews dialog.

On the Dev channel, Microsoft combined the classic Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps into a new Snipping tool, which features new visuals based on the classic app and the Win + Shift + S keyboard shortcut from Snip & Sketch. Just like the older apps, there are tools for annotations, improved cropping, and more.

Along with this, Microsoft also introduced new visual changes to the Calculator app, the Mail app and the Calendar app.
