
Google today confirmed that it has agreed to acquire Xively, a division of LogMeIn, Inc. at $50 million. This deal is aimed at strengthening Alphabet’s goal to take on Amazon and Microsoft in the public cloud business and internet of things. Google today announced that it is expanding its international coverage of Project Fi to 170 more countries including the 135 locations it already covers. Like always, the data you use abroad costs the same as the data you use at home. The newly added countries include Belize and Myanmar.
