Motorola has launched two new tablets, Motorola Xoom 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition in UK and Ireland. Both these feature Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, displays with Corning Gorilla Glass and a splashguard coating. Both these tablets comes with 1.3 MP front and 5 MP rear-facing HD cameras with digital zoom, auto focus, and LED flash, 1GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Droid-Life have got their hands on a photograph of a handset said to be the Motorola Droid 4. The Android based smartphone comes with a slide out 5 row QWERTY keyboard. The design is highly inspired by the recently launched Droid RAZR.

Motorola RAZR hands-on
This morning I had the chance to play with Motorola’s newest Android smartphone – the RAZR. The impossibly slim smartphone is the thinnest I have ever held. At 7.1mm thickness, the RAZR best the Galaxy S2 by a full 1.4mm.
The RAZR’s specs are typical of what to expect from a late 2011 smartphone. Beneath the glossy and stylish metal exterior lies a Texas Instrument OMAP 4430 SoC with dual core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. Google to operate Motorola “At arm’s length”
The search gian, implored that the other Android manufacturers had nothing to be vexed about, when Motorola was taken over by Google. Not allowing it any particular favors or privileges, they would operate Motorola as a wholly discrete unit. Ingeminating this claim, during a Wednesday evening interview at AsiaD, Google mobile chief Andy Rubin said ‘that the companydidn’t buy Motorola for its hardware, but for its patents.’

Motorola just unveiled the Droid Razr at a press conference in New York. The LTE enabled smartphone is being touted as the thinnest smartphone in the world. At 7.1 mm thickness it is actually about 1.5mm slimmer than the previous champion ie the Samsung Galaxy S2. The phone is powered by a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
