Apple grabs number 6 spot in India’s top 30 cities: IDC

International Data Corporation (IDC) is out with its monthly city level smartphone tracker which reveals that 30 leading cities of India make up approximately for 51% of the entire smartphone market in Q4 CY 2015. Delhi and Mumbai were the top two cities that generated maximum demand for the phone. Apple has outsmarted Xiaomi and grabbed number spot in the Indian smartphone market, said the report.

Apple might debut OLED displays on iPhone in 2017

Apple is looking forward to introduce OLED displays on iPhones next year according to a new report from Nikkei via (9to5Mac). Worldwide mobile shipment soars 9.7% in Q4 2015: Report

Worldwide smartphone sales hit 403 million units in the fourth quarter of 2015, a 9.7 percent increase over the same period in 2014, according to latest report from Gartner, Inc. However, the research firm said that this was their slowest growth rate since 2008.
