Google is introducing a couple of new updates to their video conferencing platform, Google Meet, that will improve upon many meeting moderation controls. Meeting host privileges can now be shared with up to 25 other participants, quick access control will be on by default, and the “People” panel in meetings have received a couple of minor updates.

Yesterday, Samsung gave us a peak into Google’s new Wear OS 3 platform that will be running on the Galaxy Watch 4. While many of the improvements are coming to the new platform, a few updates are coming to the older Wear OS 2, such as improved Messages app that syncs with the users’ smartphone, new third-party Tiles and more.
Google today released the Android 12 beta 4 which has reached Platform Stability with final APIs and all app-facing behaviors. It features dynamic two-way speakers for crisp, clear high notes and a deep bass, while the Active Noise Cancellation feature helps block unwanted sound. At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung also introduced the new Galaxy Watch 4 series powered by the new Exynos W920 5nm processor and these run One UI Watch 3 on top of WearOS, making these the first models to run the new Wear OS built jointly with Google. Samsung just announced the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, the company’s latest foldable smartphone and the successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold2 at its Unpacked event, as expected. It features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen on the inside with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Samsung Ultra Thin Glass that’s 80% stronger, and it’s 29% brighter than the Z Fold 2’s display. It features a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display that also has 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone also has a 4MP under display camera on the inside, and there is a 10MP camera for the outside screen. MediaTek today announced the new Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810 chipsets as the successor to the Dimensity 900 and Dimesnity 800 SoCs. The Dimensity 920 is built using the 6nm manufacturing node and offers a 9% boost in gaming performance compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 900. It also has Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5GHz compared to 2.4GHz in the predecessor, while retaining other features.
