KRAFTON, creators of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS PC and Console game from South Korea has announced BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA after confirming a PUBG Mobile India customized for Indian gamers back in November last year. At that time it said that various aspects of the game will be customised for Indian gamers and the in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs and added that KRAFTON, Inc will invest US$100 million in India to cultivate the local video game, entertainment, esports, and IT industries. China expresses concern, regret over India not allowing Chinese companies participate in 5G trials

This week the Department of Telecom (DoT) approved Airtel, Jio, Vi, and MTNL, to conduct 5G trials in the country. It also approved original equipment manufacturers and technology providers — Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and Development of Telematics (C-DoT) to supply equipments for 5G trials, but it didn’t allow Chinese vendors HUAWEI and ZTE. Worldwide PC market ships 122.1 million units recording 53.1% YoY growth in Q1 2021: Canalys

The worldwide PC market, which includes both Chromebooks and tablets, posted a strong growth of 53.1% YoY, with total shipments coming to 122.1 million units. Chromebooks in particular did extremely well, with a growth of 274.6% YoY, while the tablet market alone recorded a growth of 51.8% YoY.

Xiaomi said to be working on three high-end Android tablets with up to 120Hz WQXGA display, Snapdragon 8-series SoCs

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently confirmed that Xiaomi will launch new Mi Pad tablet this year, and this has also been confirmed by Xiaomi’s product director Wang Teng Thomas. Now a new XDA report says that the Xiaomi has been developing three new high-end Android tablets with code names “nabu”, “enuma”, and “elish”. These have appeared in  MIUI 12.5 system apps, and some of them showed features for these tablets. Google reportedly testing Ultra-wideband support with the Pixel 6

Last month, rumours surfaced about Google working on their own custom-designed processor for smartphones, codenamed “Whitechapel” or GS101. According to Mishaal Rahman, who is the editor-in-chief at XDA, Google is testing support for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology on a device codenamed “Raven”, which is rumoured to be powered by the GS101 SoC.
