Last year, Facebook began testing Reels within the Facebook app for users in the US. The feature is now being rolled out to more than 150 countries worldwide, and to monetize them, Facebook is introducing Overlay ads in Reels. It is also receiving a couple of new updates to improve the creator experience and discovery experience.
Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi Note 9 Pro in the country earlier this week, running MIUI 11.0 Global Stable on top of Android 10. After rumours, the realme GT Neo3, the company’s next mid-range smartphone, has been certified by TENAA in China. OnePlus already has Buds Z series of budget TWS earbuds, now the first renders based on the live images of final prototype of OnePlus Nord earbuds have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. nubia announced the RedMagic 7 and RedMagic 7 Pro gaming phones, in China last week. As promised, it has announced that the RedMagic 7 will be available to order from February 23rd, and will be available in several countries from March 10th. There is no change in specifications from the Chinese version, but there are less RAM and Storage versions, and the international model comes with 65W charger instead of 165W charger. OPPO has announced A76, the company’s latest mid-range phone, in the A series in Malaysia. The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 89.9% screen-to-body ratio, 8MP camera inside the punch-hole, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 5GB of virtual RAM and runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1. Earlier this month, OPPO launched new models in their mid-range Reno line-up of smartphones, namely the Reno7 and the Reno7 Pro. On paper, it appears that OPPO has made only minor tweaks to both devices, primarily in the design, and have continued to price them near other high-end smartphones from OnePlus and Xiaomi.
