vivo X80 with Dimensity 9000 and X80 Pro with 6.78″ QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 launched in India starting at Rs. 54999

vivo just launched  its flagship X80 and X80 Pro smartphones in India, as it had promised. The phones feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz curved E5 AMOLED screen. The X80 has an FHD+ screen with an optical fingerprint scanner, and the Pro has a Quad HD+ screen with ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The X80 is powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC, and the X80 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, both with vapor chamber cooling and up to 12GB of RAM. HONOR 70 series with 54MP camera to be announced on May 30

HONOR today confirmed the launch of HONOR 70 series of smartphones in China on May 30th. The successor to last year’s HONOR 60 series will feature similar dual cutouts for the camera, but the teaser video confirms a new 54MP 1/1.49″ main rear camera with f/1.9 aperture compared to 108MP camera in the predecessor. AMD and Qualcomm to optimize FastConnect for Ryzen processors

Qualcomm and AMD have signed a partnership to contribute to the optimization of Qualcomm’s FastConnect system on AMD Ryzen processor-based computing platforms. With FastConnect’s platform, the two companies want to give IT administrators Wi-Fi management tools through AMD PRO processors, which are part of the company’s corporate technology portfolio. It retains the Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC from the OnePlus Ace and also has HyperBoost game frame stabilization engine, and has 8-layer cooling system that includes a large area of liquid-cooled VC, diamond thermal conductive material, ultra-high density graphite and 360°antenna, but this replaces the OLED screen with a 6.59-inch 120Hz LCD screen with variable refresh rate.
