LG Optimus G2 is almost confirmed to be unveiled on August 7th in New York. Even though there were several leaks, now Engadget has posted clear images of the functioning device . The image shows the 5.2-inch phone with a extremely thin bezel and the second image shows a new lockscreen feature. The LG branding is on the bottom and the phones doesn’t have any capacitive touch buttons below the display. HERE Drive, HERE Transit and HERE Drive+ announced for all Windows Phone 8 devices
HERE, the location asset that Nokia is proud of, has just been announced for all Windows Phone 8 devices, not just a Nokia Lumia. This is a significant step towards Nokia’s contribution to the Windows Phone ecosystem, even though Nokia owns a majority of the market share. Devices like the HTC 8X will now be graced with HERE navigation and location apps that you get for free on Nokia Lumia smartphones. The apps include HERE Maps, HERE Transit and HERE Drive(with Drive+ for Global navigation). Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Benchmarks
Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 Zoom in India today at a price tag of Rs. 29,900. We unboxed the device earlier this month. Here we have the benchmarks of the S4 zoom. Even though the phone is called a camera phone for its 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom it packs a powerful Exynos 4212 dual-core Cortex A9 chip clocked at 1.5 GHz with 400 MHz Mali 400MP4 GPU. Samsung uses the same chip in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Samsung Galaxy Camera that we reviewed last year uses a quad-core Exynos 4412 chip clocked at 1.4 GHz with 440 MHz Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Both these devices are based on 32 nm HKMGprocess.

Mitashi Game In Thunder Bolt Android-powered gaming device launched for Rs. 6799
Mitashi has launched Game In Thunder Bolt, first of its kind Touch based Android gaming device in India that offers gaming along with social and multimedia capabilities. It can play 8-bit, 16-bit and even 32-bit multi-format games and has hardware control buttons similar to the PSP. The device has a 4.3-inch touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor, runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and comes with WiFi support. It has Google Play store to download Android apps and games, s 2-megapixel rear camera and has 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Mitashi had already launched several gaming devices. The Mitashi Game In Thunder had Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) onboard.

Twitter for Android, iPhone and iPad updated with DM sync, improved search and more
Twitter has updated the apps for Android, iPhone and iPad apps that brings direct messages (DM) sync across all your devices, so when you read a DM on your a device, it will be marked as read in other devices. Twitter for Android v4.1.2, iPhone and iPad v5.8 update brings improved search results that shows expanded user result with full bio when you search for people on Twitter. It also shows similar accounts when you swipe to the left, and a new in-app indicator in search results will show you when there are new Tweets for your query. The iPhone app now has built-in Tweet composer that appears when you tap to see details.

Samsung has launched Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9192) along with the Galaxy S4 Zoom at an event in Mumbai. It has a 4.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean with Samsung’s own Nature UX. It packs a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. It is 8.97mm thick and weighs just 107 grams. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby. Nokia Lumia 1020 leaked press image shows off several colors, 41MP camera detailed
Nokia Lumia 1020 for the AT&T surfaced earlier this month. The phone did not have a name till recently and was called EOS and Elivis. There were rumors that the phone would be called the Lumia 909, but the Lumia 1020 name was confirmed by the Microsoft Windows Phone Vice President Joe Belfiore recently. Now WP Central has leaked the press image of the international version of the Lumia 1020 in new colors, Yellow, White and Black. It also says that the Nokia 909 was an early name for it but the Lumia 1020 is the final name for the release.
Motorola Droid Ultra press image surfaces
Press image for the Motorola Droid Ultra Maxx surfaced last week, now images of the Droid Ultra has surfaced online that shows both the front and back of the device. This has Droid branding on the back along with the Verizon branding since this phone would head to Verizon Wireless similar to the other rumored devices, the Droid Maxx (XT1080M) and the Droid mini (XT1030).
