FlappyBird is coming soon to Windows Phone, possibly in just 10 more days, if the developer’s tweet is to be believed. The recent mobile sensation is a frustratingly simple game with intentionally clunky physics that has taken over the world for its difficulty in scoring. It’s also been made into Internet memes and is hugely popular with the young crowd for the ability to make people “Rage quit” the game in frustration. Like all new releases, this game too evades support for Windows Phone, but if the developer’s tweet is to believed, this game will likely be landing on Windows Phone really soon.

Dong Nguyen, a Vietnamese Indie developer had published the game on App Store and Google Play, and it’s now on top of the “Free apps” section on one of them, owing to the growing popularity as mentioned earlier. The developer has also developed other intentionally frustrating games like “Juggling” and “Shuriken” on iOS, and seeing the above image, the latest one is apparently landing on Windows Phone in 10 days. If you are still wondering if the game is in development for the third ecosystem, here’s another tweet confirming the same –

With hit games usually escaping Windows Phone, this is a refreshing change. But lets not hold on to the tweet as a confirmation, as he clearly mentions working on the iOS update first. Anyways, if you are with a Windows Phone, you’ve gotta wait, but if you own a Android or iOS device, you can get it right away and experience the rage quit –
