LG G3 was spotted in live images and press renders recently. Today @evleaks has posted two images of the phone. One image shows the close up of the phone’s back at an angle that looks like brushed metal finish. Images that were leaked recently revealed the phone in white with plastic back. According to @evleaks the back would not attract any fingerprints. It is not clear if the back would have self repairing technology like the G Flex. Iran bans Whatsapp, cites “Zionist” Zuckerberg as the reason
Whatsapp, the massively popular instant messaging application, was recently acquired by Facebook for a huge sum of 19 billion dollars. The deal has not even closed, but troubles already seem to be starting to pile up for the company, starting with this – Iran, officially known as the Islamic Republic of Iran, has censored Whatsapp in its country, citing “Zionist” Zuckerberg as the reason for the ban.

HTC released the One M8 in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors at the launch. Now @evleaks posted a press image of the HTC One in Pink. Motorola Moto E confirmed through import export listing, rumored to cost Rs. 8999
Last week Motorola scheduled two separate events in London and India on May 13th to unveil its affordable smartphone. According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. This was first spotted by AndroidOS. Microsoft to reveal a smaller Surface on May 20th, sends out invites
Microsoft’s strategic shift into a “Devices and Services” company saw the release of its own hardware range, under the “Surface” moniker, which was previously donned by the touchscreen tables, now called Pixel Sense. The Surface devices were tablets meant to show case Windows at its finest form. The Surface RT and the Surface Pro have seen two iterations already, with the former running on powerful ARM processors, while the latter, running on Ultrabook-grade specifications, meant to give high performance in a portable touchscreen form factor. Suffice to say, both of them have been met only with lukewarm response. With mini tablets gaining a large foothold, even Apple acknowledged the need with its iPad mini, and several OEM partners of Microsoft started releasing their own 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablets, once the OS was ready to support smaller screens. And now, it seems like Microsoft is ready to show the world what it can do with a smaller screen, on May 20th, as the company plans to reveal a new Surface device, at an event in New York city.

Xolo Q1000 Opus gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat update
Xolo has released Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Q1000 Opus that was launched back in December last year running Android 4.2.2. This is the company’s first smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series and also its first smartphone to get the KitKat update. The company had released several minor updates for the phone since the launch. It released a minor update back in January to fix camera bugs.
