Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus with 4-inch display, quad-core processor officially launched for Rs. 6490
Karbonn has officially launched the Titanium S1 Plus, that company’s latest budget smartphone in the Titanium series. It went on sale online back in April and packs a 4-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Adobe Lightroom mobile arrives for iPhone, Sketch, Line and Photoshop Mix apps released for iPad
Adobe released Lightroom mobile, a companion app to the Lightroom desktop software for iPad back in April, now the company has released the app for iPhone users. In addition it also released three new apps – Sketch, Line and Photoshop Mix for the iPad. The company also began shipping new creative hardware called Adobe Ink, a new digital pen, and Adobe Slide, a new digital ruler that are sold together priced at US$199.99.
Google Drive for Android updated with redesigned UI
Google released its stock email app on Play Store earlier today and now it has added some tweaks to the Drive app on Android. The cloud storage app from Google gets fresh look with a new animation which was earlier light blue. A new document creation shortcut has been added in the floating bar at the bottom of the screen.

BlackBerry to shut down music and video stores on July 21st
Yesterday BlackBerry tied up with Amazon to bring the Amazon app store to BlackBerry OS BlackBerry 10 soon. The company also announced that it would shut down its BlackBerry Music and video stores on July 21st. Both these sections were launched along with the BlackBerry 10 last year. Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 with 5-inch qHD display, Snapdragon 200 processor now available for Rs. 9780
Xolo launched the Q1000 Opus, the company’s first smartphone powered by a quad-core Broadcom (BCM23550) processor back in December last year. Now the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 is available from online retailer Snapdeal. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor and has a 5-inch qHD display, compared to FWVGA screen on the Q1000 Opus. Google releases stock Email app on Play Store
Google has finally released its stock Email app on the Google Play Store. This app comes pre-installed on Nexus and select Google Play edition devices, so it would be easy for Google to update the app with new features. Amazon unveils the Fire Phone with 2.2Ghz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM onboard
At an event in Seattle, Amazon finally pulled the veil off its much awaited smartphone. Called the Fire Phone, it is meant to capitalize on the digital ecosystem that the company has created around the likes of its Kindle hardware and the new Fire TV. The phone runs a forked version of Android which at first glance appears to be very similar to the one on Amazon’s tablet efforts.

BlackBerry’s latest move brings Amazon Appstore to BB10 platform
Despite BlackBerry’s multiple attempts to create a developer ecosystem around the BlackBerry 10 platform, uptake has been slow. The company tried to get around this by offering an Android runtime. Developers were also free to port their Android applications and bring it to the BlackBerry application store. Savvy users could also sideload APK files directly.
