Intex has launched Aqua 3G, the company’s latest entry-level smartphone with 3G support in the Aqua series. It has a 4-inch WVGA screen, powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Microsoft and British designer team up to create wireless charging trousers

A British fashion designer along with Microsoft has created wireless mobile-charging trousers. The duo claims that they it is the first time such a trouser is made in the world. Adrien Sauvage, a 31-year-old designer has been working on the trousers for the past six months and the prototype will be released today in London.

Samsung Gear VR trademarks hints at upcoming Oculus Rift competitor

As Virtual Reality technology improves, we’re seeing an increasing level of attention from mainstream players. Following Sony’s lead that introduced its Project Morpheus headset to compete with the game changing Oculus Rift. Today, Samsung’s plans to enter the virtual reality headset market got a bit more concrete.

Samsung Gear 2 updated with blocking mode and improved S Health Mode

Samsung has updated its smartwatch Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo with few major features. The Tizen powered smartwatch adds Blocking Mode, which essentially enables users to mute notifications. Users can either keep the blocking mode active all the time or when they do not want to be disturbed. They can also set it to auto enable when you’re asleep. This feature is similar to the Blocking mode available on Samsung smartphones.

Reliance Jio to begin expanded 4G trials in August, phased launch in 2015 across India

Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) would begin 4G rollout in phased manner in 2015. This was announced by Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the Reliance Industries at its 40th Annual General Meeting today. The company would begin expanded trials in August across multiple cities, which would continue through the end of 2014 and early 2015. HTC Sense TV India program guide

HTC has updated its HTC Sense TV app that finally brings support for Indian TV program listings. This let you add a TV service provider from the settings to view the current or upcoming TV listing and detailed program guide easily. Facebook Beta for Windows Phone adds video upload

Facebook has updated its beta Windows Phone app with new video uploading feature. Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users can now upload videos to Facebook directly from their mobile. At the menu bar at the bottom of the app there are three buttons Status, Photo and Check -in. By clicking on the Photo button users can now select a video to upload to their Facebook account.

It has a 5.1-inch (2560 x1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has 3GB of RAM, compared to 2GB RAM on the Galaxy S5. Report: AT&T to be exclusive carrier for Amazon smartphone

Amazon is scheduled to host an event on 18th June where it is expected to reveal its upcoming smartphone. The device will distinguish itself from the competition through the use of a special 3D interface that will make use of retina tracking technology.

The technology will allow users to navigate the interface through the use of four cameras embedded along the corners of the phone. This will allow for a glasses free experience. The device will be revealed at the company’s event in Seattle later this week. Amazon is already courting developers to adopt and make applications for the unique interface used on the smartphone. While little is known of the specifications of the device, the handset will be neck deep in the Amazon ecosystem and will most likely be sold at or near cost similar to the company’s tablet offerings.
