Lenovo has announced Vibe X2, the company’s latest smartphone in the X series at the IFA 2014. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by a 2 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) with Vibe UI 2.0 on top with personalized lock screen, Instant On camera, transparent icons and more . It has a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel wide-angle  front-facing camera. Angry Birds Stella released for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10

Rovio has released Angry Birds Stella, a new game in the Angry Birds franchise aimed at female fans. This include the main Stella bird and her group who are on a quest to protect Golden Island from the greedy Bad Princess. The game is available for Android, iOS and BlackBerry 10, but there is no sign of Windows Phone app yet. The game is free to download and includes in-app purchases in the form of coins. Microsoft has announced Nokia Wireless Charging Plate DT-903, the latest wireless charging accessory. Sony rolls out Bluetooth wireless headphones and wearable MP3 player

Sony has launched three wireless bluetooth headphones that specializes in a different features. The first Bluetooth headphone from the company is MDR-XB950BT Extra Bass Bluetooth Headset. As the name implies it puts more emphasis on the bass to deliver what Sony says is “a powerful audio experience.”

Samsung just announced the Galaxy Tab Active, the company’s first rugged Galaxy Tablet with anti-shock covering that can withstand a 1.2-meter drop, with the protective cover on. It is also water and dust resistant with IP67 certification. It has 8.0-inch WXGA displays, powered by 1.2 quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It comes in WiFi and 3G / LTE variants. It has physical keys below the display.

Nokia to launch free maps for Android and iOS by the end of 2014

Sony launched the Xperia Z3 line up yesterday that includes the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z3 Tablet. At the time of the announcement, the company did not reveal the prices of these devices. HTC has unveiled the Desire 820, the company’s latest phablet at the IFA 2014 as expected. It has the 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, similar to the Desire 816, but this is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) and has Adreno 405 GPU. Micromax sends invite to launch a new smartphone on September 8

Micromax has sent out press invites to launch a new smartphone on September in New Delhi. The event was supposed to happen on September 1st, but it got postponed. The invitation doesn’t reveal anything apart from the time, date and location, but the company today teased a new smartphone on their Facebook page back that reveal few details about the smartphone. It also says that it would launch exclusively on Snapdeal.
