Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5 in India. The update is available via OTA in India and can also be downloaded via the Samsung Kies application.
The update 875MB update and takes about 3GB of memory to install the OS. It brings Material Design features that brings bold colors and refreshed UI, better performance, improved battery life to the Galaxy S5. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI which has been made lighter and slimmer to complement for the Lollipop update. Some of the major changes will include the lockscreen notifications and guest mode, which allows the user to create different profiles within the phone.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has already received Lollipop update in international markets like UK, Korea and others.
