Today both Amazon.in and Flipkart have confirmed that the the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would be available for pre-order starting 12 noon today. GT Advanced Technologies, a company that specializes in supplying engineered sapphire glass has just filed for bankruptcy. The company had entered into a contract with Apple last year to supply sapphire crystal glass for upcoming products.
While it was speculated that Apple would be using sapphire glass on the iPhone 6, it instead opted to use its own version of reinforced glass instead. LG has officially launched the G3 Stylus smartphone in India. It went on sale last week and packs a 5.5-inch qHD display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
