Xiaomi headed to Indonesia


Xiaomi made ripples in the Indian smartphone market with the single device they launched in the country, the Mi 3. However, from what it appears, the Chinese company isn’t done disrupting markets as yet.

Xiaomi is now headed to Indonesia, a country that has patiently been waiting for Xiaomi’s foray. Xiaomi have responded, and a website for Indonesia is already up, causing speculations and rumours from all sides. However, Hugo Barra gave the final blow today by making an official announcement.

So what do you think Xiaomi’s first device for Indonesia would be? From the photo Hugo has put up, it looks like a 5-inch phone with dual SIM. The Mi 3 and Mi 4 both have 5 inch screens, but neither offer dual SIM. Are Indonesian Xiaomi fans in for a surprise?
