Honor, the global brand under Huawei launched the Honor 4X smartphone in India last month for Rs. 10499. We already brought you the unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone.  The phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.21 GHz per core and has Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400MHz.  It has 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Emotion UI 3.0. Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G launched in India for Rs. 7999

Motorola launched the Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G in India last month for Rs. 6,999. We brought the review of the smartphone recently. Today the company has launched Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G that is powered by a faster 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. Other specifications are similar, including a 4.5-inch qHD screen, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

Microsoft Lumia 640 : First Impressions

Microsoft announced the Lumia 640 and the 640 XL last month at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Spain. The two devices are very similar to one another and the primary difference is the size. The 640 XL does also pack a few extra features and a bit more battery power as compared to the 640. Regardless of their differences, both the devices are aimed to bring the Windows platform to the masses especially in India where phones between the price of 10-18,000 rupees have been gaining a lot of sales quite recently. We have both the devices in our office and will be bringing you the reviews shortly. For now, lets take a look at the Lumia 640 and see what our first impressions are.

Microsoft Windows 10 Technical Preview for phones Build 10051 released, supports more phones

Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10051 for phones. The first build that was released back in February supported  Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 730, and Lumia 830. The new build support even more phones. Lumia 930, Icon, and 640 XL is not supported in this release as it promised recently since there is an issue with scaling on these device making the UI too small to be usable, says Microsoft. Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone in India last month starting at Rs. 58,900. It went on sale today, and we unboxed it too earlier today. Now let us check out the benchmarks of the smartphone. The Galaxy S6 Edge is powered by a Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 7420 SoC which has four ARM Cortex A57 CPUs clocked at 2.1 GHz and four ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 772 MHz Mali T760 MP8 GPU and 3GB RAM LPDDR4 RAM.
