Xiaomi unveiled 16000mAh power bank, larger than its 10400mAh power bank that was launched in India last year. We managed to get one from China since it is not available in India. It has anodised aluminium finish on the outside, similar to the other Mi Power Banks. It is compact, even though it packs 16000mAh battery, but weighs 350 grams. Samsung revealed that it plans to start a new chip production facility in Pyeongtaek, which is around 70 kilometres south of Seoul. The facility costs US$ 14.4 biilion (15.6 trillion won) and is set to start its production in the first half of 2017.

Announced in March 2015, the BlackBerry Leap is making its way to India later this month. The handset combines mid range specifications, solid reliability of BlackBerry OS with it’s enterprise credentials and a low enough price to offer a gateway product for mid level executives. The core specifications make it sound like a not so modern handset but give the Leap a chance and it is greater than the sum of it’s parts. The BlackBerry Leap employs a compact 5 inch 720p display. It is powered by a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 processor and has 2GB of RAM onboard. An 8MP camera is placed at the rear while a 2MP camera can be used for video calling purposes. Lava International on Thursday announced that it has crosses US$ 1 billion (Rs. 6300 crore approx.) in revenue in FY14-15, registering more than 100% growth over last year. Overall smartphone sales witnessed a three-fold growth with 300% increase in volume (YoY), compared to FY 2013-14 said the company.
