Intex Technologies has launched Aqua Speed HD, the latest budget smartphone in the Aqua series and the successor of Aqua Speed that was launched last month. It has a 4.7-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 3G connectivity and dual SIM support. The app currently helps protect data on phone, including media files (photos and videos) and text messages, bank account/credit card details and identity cards (driving licence, passport, etc. Privy Point was developed through a crowd sourcing platform for users giving them the power to choose the features they would want in the app. Privy Point also makes itself inconspicuous by disguising as an innocuous app like calendar or calculator, that is also password protected, making it difficult for anyone to identify the app.

The Privy Point application has been certified by Valency Networks. It is available Google Play store or the Privy Point website.

Samsung Earning’s Guidance expects 30% drop is profit for Q1 2015

Samsung has announced its earnings guidance for the first quarter of 2015.  The South Korean company is again expecting a decline in its profits for Q1 2015.

LG releases first G4 video teaser showing its F 1.8 camera

LG Mobile has released the first teaser video for its upcoming LG G4 smartphone. It also reveals that the camera will have f/1.8 aperture, offering better low light performance. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge’s 16-megapixel camera have f/1.9 aperture and the HTC One M9‘s 20-megapixel camera has f/2.2 aperture. The LG G3 has a f/2.4 lens. The company did not reveal the sensor size or the maker of the camera sensor yet. According to earlier leaks it is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera.
