Asus launched its new smartphones in the Zenfone series, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 and the Zenfone Selfie at the ZenFestival in India earlier this month. Asus already announced that these smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart and also thorough ASUS Exclusive stores and authorized retailers starting from this month. iberry’s Auxus has launched Auxus PRIME P8000 in partnership with Chinese smartphone maker Elephone exclusively on Snapdeal, as it announced yesterday. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). It supports Elephone ROMs and customized ROMs. It has 4G LTE connectivity with support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.
Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer to check out Google’s modular smartphone concept, Project Ara. The company has announced that Project Ara is getting delayed till 2016.
Apple’s next event is lined up for 9th September and it looks like we might finally get a glimpse of the next generation Apple TV. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core SoC.

Uber started testing cash payment option in Hyderabad in May this year and expanded it to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kochi and Pune in India last month. Now it has started accepting cash payments in Chennai for uberGO and uberX rides. Google introduced the newest version of Android at its annual developer summit. The preview was known as ‘Android M’ and the company did not reveal what M stands for. Today, Google has announced that the latest iteration of Android will be called as ‘Marshmallow’.
