Skype gets Bollywood Mojis and emoticons in the latest update

Skype has added a bunch of Bollywood inspired Mojis and emoticons to spice up your chats. The video and calling service from Microsoft has partnered with Yash Raj Films and ErosNow, the on-demand entertainment platform of Eros International, to develop custom Mojis for Skype users.

Alcatel One Touch has officially announced the Fierce XL Android smartphone, after it was leaked earlier this month, but the company did not introduce the Windows 10 version. The Fierce XL has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, has a 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC launched the Desire 728 dual sim, a mid-range 4G smartphone in China last month. Now the company is all set to launch the Desire 728G dual sim, a variant of the smartphone with 3G connectivity and dual SIM support with dual GSM SIMs or GSM + CDMA option. It has 1.5GB of RAM, compared to 2GB of RAM in the Desire 728 and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) HTC’s own Sense UI on top. Global tablet shipments decline 12.6% in Q3 2015: Report

Just yesterday, IDC revealed its numbers for the worldwide smartphone shipment and today, the research firm is out with report for the global tablet shipments.  A total of 48.7 million units were shipped in the Q3 2015, reporting a 12.6% decline owing to the challenges faced by the tablet market.

LG V10 global roll out begins this week starting from the US, China and Hong Kong

LG announced its flagship V10 smartphone in the new V series earlier this month. It went on sale in Korea on October 8th, today the company has announced it will start rolling out worldwide from this week. Qualcomm denies heating issues on the Snapdragon 820

Qualcomm has issued a statement denying that the rumors stating that the Snapdragon 820 has over-heating issues is false. The Snapdragon 810 from Qualcomm did face over-heating which in turn gave rise to quite a few problems on the initial few devices that it ran on such as the LG G Flex 2 and HTC One M9.
