Gionee is finally launching Marathon M5, its latest smartphone in the M series with whopping 6020mAh battery in India on November 24th at an event in Bangalore. It was introduced at an event in Beijing back in June, packs two 3010 battery cells that promises up to 62 hours of standby even if the phone has only 5% of power left. It has fast dual charging chips and can also be used to charge other devices.

Lenovo introduced the Vibe S1 smartphone with dual front-facing cameras at the IFA in September. Today the company has sent out invites for the launch of the selfie-focused smartphone in India on November 23rd. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera, along with the secondary 2-megapixel camera will offer crisp images and advanced depth of field, including background blur, background swap and improved low-light results, said Lenovo.

It packs a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, compared to 4.7-inch qHD AMOLED screen on the Galaxy J2 that was launched in India in September. Google has announced that it will combine all its cloud businesses, including Google for Work, Cloud Platform, and Google Apps, under a single company. It acquired bebop, a startup founded by Diane B. Greene, who is also the co-founder and former CEO of VMWare. Google has named her the head of its cloud business, and she will remain on the Google board, said the company. bebop is a development platform that makes it easy to build and maintain enterprise applications. Huawei Mate 8 codenamed NXT-AL10 has appeared on AnTuTu revealing most of its specifications. It will be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 950 Octa-Core SoC that was introduced earlier this month. In AnTuTu, the 4GB RAM variant scores 79131 points, beating its competitors. It scores roughly between 76,000 and 79,000 points, according to AnTuTu. Kirin 950 has up to 2.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex 72 CPU + up to 1.8 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A53 GPU and Mali T880 GPU.
