Google is working on a new messaging service to take on Facebook’s digital assistant ‘M’, according to a report from the WSJ. This may be incorporated in its chatbot technology that answers questions inside a messaging app, says the report. This will let users switch between texting a friend and asking a chatbot for suggestion for a place to eat, by searching the web and other sources, in the same thread.

Google launched the LG-made Nexus 5X smartphone in India back in October. We have already seen the unboxing and benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results. The Nexus 5X has a 2700mAh built-in battery, comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support and also comes bundled with a fast charger. Huawei Honor smartphones now available offline in India

Huawei recently partnered with Snapdeal to expand it’s online presence, today the company has announced its partnership with Zopper, India’s first hyper local marketplace to launch its smartphones offline. Huawei smartphones will now be available across 267 outlets in Delhi NCR (Gurgaon, Faridabad), Chennai, Vellore, Pondicherry and Bangalore. All jokes apart, when we first got acquainted with new entrant, Qiku, we were a bit apprehensive about the choice of name and its repercussions in India. Not to be laughed off though, the company has gone ahead full steam and has incorporated a lot of feedback. Using a combination of sheer power and some very interesting software features, the QiKu Q Terra has managed to garner a lot of positive feedback. But is this warranted?
