WhatsApp has joined the billion users club. The Facebook owned messaging service now has over 1 billion monthly active users which translates to one in seven people on Earth. WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum announced the latest milestone via an official post on Facebook.

Panasonic has launched hi-resolution HD5 headphones and BTD5 Bluetooth headphones in India. The company claims that the new headphones offer superior sound quality and portability.
LeEco (formerly known as Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 10,999. Flipkart today announced that it has received over 5,30,000 lakh registrations for the Le 1s smartphone within 10 days after registration opened. Chinese smartphone shipments grew 3 percent annually to hit a record 438 million units in 2015, according to the latest report from Strategy Analytics. Xiaomi maintained the top spot by shipping 17.5 million smartphones and captured 15 percent market share in China in Q4 2015, up 11 percent annually.
Apple is planning to sell refurbished iPhones in India and is seeking approval from the Government for the same, according to a latest report from the Indian Express. The company is also planning to set up a facility in the country to restore used mobiles shipped from China.
