Microsoft has announced the launch of Skype Lite mobile app which is aimed at low end Android devices. The company CEO Satya Nadella introduced the app at Future Decoded event in Mumbai. Verizon Communications and Yahoo back in July last announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Verizon will acquire Yahoo’s operating business for approximately $4.83 billion in cash. Today both the companies have announced that they have agreed to reduce the price Verizon will pay to acquire Yahoo’s operating business by $350 million. Huawei’s Honor brand introduced Honor 8 Lite, a cheaper version of its flagship Honor 8 smartphone in Finland earlier this month. Now it has introduced the smartphone in China along with the Honor V9. It has a 12-megapixel single rear camera instead of dual 12-megapixel rear cameras on the Honor 8, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 655 processor and runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 out of the box.
