Twitter to shut down Vine in coming months

Twitter today announced that it will be discontinuing Vine mobile app in coming months. This comes after Twitter announced it will lay off approximately 9% of its global workforce. Vine, 6 second video sharing app was launched back in January 2013, Twitter released the app for Android later that year. Lenovo launched the Z2Plus in India last month exclusively on Amazon.in starting at Rs. 17,999. We brought you the review of the smartphone recently, here we have the battery test results of the smartphone. The smartphone packs a 3500mAh built-in battery, slightly smaller than the ZUK Z1’s 4100mAh battery. But this supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, even though it comes only with a standard charger. Huawei has announced Enjoy 6, successor of Enjoy 5 that was introduced back in October last year, in China. It has a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Enjoy 5. Twitter records $616 million in revenue, 317 million MAU in Q3 2016

Twitter has announced financial results for Q3, 2016 ended September 30, 2016. The micro blogging site has reported $616 million in revenue, up 8% YoY. Twitter now has 317 million users, up from 313 million from last quarter and 307 million from Q3 2015. This represents a 3% growth on last year. LG Q3 2016 profits fall 10.8% YoY, mobile revenue down 23% due to weak G5 sales

LG Electronics has reported revenues of 13.2 trillion won (US$ 11.8 billion) in Q3 that ended September 30, 2016, which is down 5.7% compared to the same quarter last year with operating profit of 283.2 billion won (US$ 252.7 million), down 10.8% from the same period the previous year. Home Appliance & Air Solution business and Home Entertainment posted good performance, which offset sales declines and operating losses from Mobile Communications.
