Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max with Android 7.0, Samsung Pay, 4G VoLTE launched in India starting at Rs. 17900


Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro

Samsung today launched Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max, two new mid-range smartphones in the ‘Galaxy J7’ 2017 series in India. The Galaxy J7 Pro is the same Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone that was introduced last week packing a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, while the larger Galaxy J7 Max comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p display. These have Samsung Pay (Samsung Pay Mini on J7 Max for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments), making them the first mid-range smartphones to support Samsung Pay.

Both these have a unibody metal design,13-megapixel front and rear cameras with LED flash, and the J7 Max also has Smart Glow 2.0 on the back. These have 4G LTE support with VoLTE for Reliance Jio, dedicated slots for SIM and microSD, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and come with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

These also have new Social Camera for instant sharing to social apps, editing by adding filters and stickers, Discover photography spots, restaurants and shopping areas. These also come with the usual Ultra Data Saving, S bike mode and S power planning features.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max come in Black and Gold colors and are priced at Rs. 20,900 and Rs. 17,900, respectively. The Galaxy J7 Max will be available first from June 20th and the Galaxy J7 Pro will be available in mid-July.

These come with offer for Samsung Pay – On making transactions through Paytm & UPI via Samsung Pay, users get cashback worth Rs.800. Samsung Pay Mini will be available on select existing J series devices soon.
