Honor 7X coming to offline stores in India, Red Limited Edition goes on sale on Amazon from Feb 9

Huawei’s Honor brand recently said that the Honor7X is now made in India and the company in partnership with Flex has started manufacturing the phone at Flex’s plant in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. Today the company has announced that the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version of the smartphone will be available across Honor partner stores pan India starting from February 9th at the same online price of Rs. 15,999.

UC Browser 12.0 for Android launched officially, clocks 130 million monthly active users in India

At an event UCWeb today officially released UC Browser 12, especially for the India market. This supports faster video content consumption on mobile, which now consumes 50% less data and buffers with zero time lag. The company has also announced that UC Browser has crossed 130 Million Monthly Active Users (MAUs) in India as of January 2018. It also says that it is leading with market share of over 43% as per StatCounter, and is the sixth-most downloaded app in India. Lenovo recalls some ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops over fire hazard concern

Lenovo has announced a recall of 83,500 (78,000 in the U.S. and 5,500 in Canada) ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops (with machine type  20HQ, 20HR, 20K3 or 20K4), manufactured between December 2016 and October 2017 over concerns of  fire hazard. It said that it has worked with United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for voluntary recall of these laptops. Nokia and Qualcomm achieve 5G NR Interoperability

Back in September last year, Qualcomm and Nokia announced plans to conduct interoperability testing and over-the-air field trials based on the 5G New Radio (NR) Release-15 specifications being developed by 3GPP. Today both the companies have announced that they have successfully completed interoperability testing in the 3.5Ghz and 28Ghz spectrum compliant with the global 3GPP 5G NR Release 15 standard using Nokia AirScale base station and device prototypes from Qualcomm Technologies.

Huawei P20 Lite gets certified by the FCC, reveals top-notch, Android 8.0 and more
