Google today has announced new changes to its storage plans including a new low-cost storage plan under a new ‘Google One’ brand. It is also converting all Google Drive paid storage plans to Google One. All paid consumer Google Drive storage plans will be upgraded to Google One and this change doesn’t affect G Suite business customers. HMD Global is all set to introduce Nokia X6, a new mid-range smartphone in the new ‘X series’ in China tomorrow, May 16th. Name of the smartphone was confirmed  recently, and the specifications of the smartphone were revealed by TENAA certification. Google revamps Gmail with Smart Replies, confidential mode, priority notifications and more [Update: ‘Nudge’ respond reminders now rolling out]

Update: Google has started rolling out respond reminder feature that will ‘nudge’ users to reply to emails they may have missed and to follow up on emails for which they haven’t received a response. This is enabled by default for users with the new Gmail enabled, but you can can turn it off from the Gmail settings menu.

Airtel completes acquisition of Telenor India

Airtel today announced that it has completed the acquisition Telenor India, after a year of entering into an agreement to acquire Telenor India’s running operations in seven circles – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Gujarat, UP (East), UP (West) and Assam, and transfer of all of Telenor India’s assets including spectrum, licenses and operations, including its employees and customer base of 44 million as well as outstanding spectrum payments and other operational contracts, including tower lease. Coolpad files two lawsuits against Xiaomi over patent litigation in China

Coolpad has announced that its unit has filed lawsuits against three group firms of Xiaomi for several patent Infringements. The company’s subsidiary, Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific (Shenzhen) Co. Limited has filed a lawsuit against Xiaomi Telecom Technology Co, Xiaomi Technology Co, and Xiaomi Factory Co, in a court in Jiangsu province for using its patents without authorization.
