ASUS has launched ROG Zephyrus S GX531, ROG Zephyrus S GX701, and ROG Strix SCAR II gaming laptops and GL12CX desktop in India. The gaming laptops feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, 144Hz displays with slim bezels and advanced cooling.

Xiaomi Mi A2 gets another price cut in India, now available for Rs. 11999

Xiaomi launched the Mi A2, the company’s second Android One smartphone in India back in August last year starting at Rs. 16,999, later it got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November, and a Rs. 2000 price cut in the country in January this year. Today it has received third price cut oin the country, and is available for Rs. 11,999, after a Rs. 2000 price cut. This price cut is only for the 4GB+64GB version, and the 6GB+128GB version is available at original rate of Rs. 15,999.  The smartphone is available at new rate on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home stores as well as Mi Preferred partner stores.

Vivo X27 Pro with 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras and Vivo S1 surface

We already know that Vivo is all set to introduce the X27 smartphone with triple rear cameras and a pop-up front camera in China on March 19th. Now images and specifications of the X27 Pro has surfaced. This shows a 32-megapixel pop-up camera along with flash, and a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 93.16% screen-to-body ratio. As you can see in the image, the triple rear camera placement is in the middle in the X27 Pro.

LG G8 ThinQ pre-orders begin this week starting from Korea, price revealed

LG unveiled its flagship  G8 ThinQ smartphone at its MWC event last month. Today the company has announced that it will begin pre-orders for the phone starting from Korea from March 15th till March 21st at a price of 897,600 Korean Won (US$ 790 / Rs. 55,280 approx.), which it says is the lowest price tag ever for a flagship LG smartphone. It will go on sale starting from March 22nd and alsocomes with 1-year free screen replacement and a free case as a part of launch offer.

BlackBerry Wireless Charger launched in India for Rs. 2499

Optiemus Infracom, BlackBerry brand licensee has launched BlackBerry branded wireless charger in India. It is compatible with smartphones with USB type-C input on Android, Apple and QI-enabled smartphones that allow wireless charging. It has a non-slip charging surface the company says that it will charge upto 25% in just 60 minutes since this is just 5W. POCO F1 MIUI 10.2.3.0 stable update starts rolling out [Download Link]

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with a skin on top, called MIUI For POCO. The smartphone has been in news since the launch for good reasons except for a  few issues, but the company has been very responsive towards addressing the issues and kept device updated as well. The device received MIUI 10 Global Stable update back in November which was based on Android Oreo but later in December, Xiaomi rolled out Android Pie based MIUI 10 Stable update for the smartphone. Google addresses serious Chrome security problem with latest update

A few days back, Google reported a couple of vulnerabilities –one affecting Google Chrome and another in Microsoft Windows that were being exploited together. In an attempt to curb it down, Google released an update for all Chrome platforms on March 1; this update was pushed through Chrome auto-update. After the P Smart 2019 in December, Huawei has silently introduced the P Smart+ 2019 mid-range smartphone. It has  the same 6.21-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio, around 90% screen-to-body ratio, Kirin 710 SoC with 3GB RAM, support for GPU Turbo 2.0 and  Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0 on top, but this has a 24-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection and a 16-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens.
