With the Apple Pencil 2, Apple introduced a double tap control interface that enabled secondary functions in supported apps for the iPad Pro. Now, according to a new patent filed by Apple, they may be introducing more gestures and swipe capabilities with the addition of new touch sensors in the next generation Pencil.
Instagram’s Boomerang has finally received an update with 3 new effects since it was launched almost 5 years ago. There are 3 new effects including Slomo, Echo and Duo as part of its editing suite along with the option to trim the boomerang video via an iPhone camera roll-styled editor.

The update comes at a time where Instagram’s user base becomes threatened with the rising popularity of TikTok and resurgence of Snapchat. TikTok already a multitude of filters and features in its app that has proven to be very popular among users, creating tons of memes and content for the internet. In a move to stay relevant, Instagram has updated its Boomerang feature with 3 new effects and a new video editor with trim support.

And lastly, Instagram has also added the option to trim your boomerang video with controls similar to the iPhone video editor or Instagram feed video composer. These new effects will help garner new interest in boomerang videos that have become a bit stale in recent times.
During June 2019, popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that all the iPhones released in 2020 will come with 5G support and will come 4 model sizes. Now in another report, he has claimed that all 4 models is on track to be released in 2020 with 5G capabilities with sub-6GHz and mmWave support.

OnePlus at its 2020 Screen Technology event introduced Quad HD+ OLED ‘Fluid Display’ with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit HDR, as it had promised. Samsung is all set to introduce its Galaxy S20 at its Galaxy Unpacked event next month. We had already seen several renders of the phone, now the first set of live images of the phone have surfaced. This shows the phone’s Infinity-O AMOLED screen, name of the phone on the boot screen and quad rear cameras arranged in a rectangular part which protrudes out of the phone’s glass part. Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in December 2018. Android One devices from other brands such as HMD and Motorola have already received Android 10 update, as per the Android One policy, the Mi A2 is eligible to receive Android 10 update. OnePlus has sent out invites in China for introducing new 2020 screen technology on January 13. The company has not revealed any details about the event. Based on rumors we can expect 120Hz refresh rate screen, an upgrade from 90Hz screen its current flagships.
