Google launched its first cloud region in India in Mumbai back in 2017 in an aim to improve latency from 20-90% for end users in Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and of course Mumbai. Today the company has announced plans to open a Delhi cloud region next year, expanding Google’s existing network of eight regions in Asia Pacific and 22 regions globally today.
