Samsung has scheduled new Galaxy Unpacked event on April 28th. Samsung said that ‘The most powerful Galaxy is coming’. The company is expected to introduce new Galaxy Book models at the event. Sony Mobile has announced Xperia 10 III (pronounced mark 3), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone along with the Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 III. It features a 6-inch 21:9 Wide Full HD+ OLED screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz Touch sampling rate, has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, is powered by Snapdragon 690 5G with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 11, and features triple rear cameras including 12MP (main) +8MP (telephoto) and 8MP (120° ultra-wide) and an 8MP front camera. It retains the 6.1-inch 21:9 CinemaWide FHD+ HDR display with 120Hz Refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate, but this is powered by Snapdragon 888 with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11. Mi QLED TV 75-inch with 4K bezel-less display, MEMC, Dolby Vision launching in India on April 23

Xiaomi today confirmed that it will launch its Mi QLED TV 75 in India on April 23rd, along with the Mi 11 series phones. This comes after the launch of Mi QLED TV 55-inch model which was launched in India back in December last year. This should be the Mi TV Q1 model which was launched in Europe in February. HUAWEI to invest $1 billion into electric vehicles and self-driving technology

 Just as Xiaomi announced their entry into the smart electric vehicle business, HUAWEI has revealed their plans to invest $1 billion into the research and development of EV and self-driving technologies. To achieve the goal of entering this market space, the company will be partnering with 3 automakers in China, who will release cars under the HUAWEI name as a sub-brand.

Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 5G with 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz Infinity-O AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, quantum security chip announced

After rumours, Samsung has announced Galaxy Quantum 2 (SM-A826S) in partnership with SK Telecom in South Korea. This is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A Quantum which was introduced as the world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. Even this has a QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) chipset with the world’s smallest size (2.5 mm wide x 2.5 mm long) like its predecessor. Last week realme confirmed that the realme 8 series 5G smartphones will be launched in Thailand on April 21st. The phones are rumoured to launch in India on April 22nd. Microsoft bets big on healthcare; buys AI speech tech company Nuance for $19.7 Billion

In the latest development, Microsoft has announced the acquisition of Nuance Communications, in an all-cash transaction valued at $19.7 billion, inclusive of net debt. As a part of the deal, the Redmond tech giant will pay $56 per share for Nuance, a 23% premium over the closing price of Nuance on Friday, April 9.
