Samsung has announced the launch of two laptops in their Galaxy Book series, called the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360. These laptops feature updated 11th Gen Intel Core processors, offer either 13.3-inch or 15.6-inch AMOLED display options, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and more.
Both laptops have an ultra-thin and ultra-lightweight designs and they are made out 6000-series aluminum for improved durability. These laptops are verified for Intel’s Evo Platform, and they configured with up to a 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, combined with Intel Iris Xe graphics for the GPU. For RAM they can be configured up to 16GB of LPDDR4x memory and for storage, Samsung offers up to a 1TB NVMe SSD.
The display for the laptops use the same technology as their Galaxy smartphones, that is, an AMOLED display, and it features their Intelligent Color Engine technology built-in, which will automatically tune the display’s color space match the content onscreen. It has a “Pro Keyboard” with 1mm of key travel, and the laptop’s mics have Intelligent Noise Cancelling built-in, which can eliminate ambient noise for clearer audio in video calls.
The laptops have a lot of smart software features such as the SmartThings app, Easy Bluetooth connection to connect to the Galaxy Buds and more. The Galaxy Book Pro in particular comes with an upgraded S Pen and has Clip Studio Paint preloaded into the laptop.
The Galaxy Book Pro comes in two colours – Mystic Blue and Mystic Silver, and will start at $999.99 (Approx. Rs. 74,510) for the 13-inch model and $1,099.99 (Approx. Rs. 81,961) for the 15-inch model. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 will come in Mystic Navy and Mystic Bronze colours and it will start at $1,199.99 (Approx. Rs. 89,412) for the 13-inch model and $1,299.99 (Approx. Rs. 96,863) for the 15-inch model.
