Sony Xperia 5 II to be announced on September 17

Sony today confirmed a new Xperia product launch event on September 17th where the company is expected to introduce its top-end Sony Xperia 5 II, successor of last year’s Xperia 5 that was introduced at the IFA 2019. Based on recent @evleaks’ image, the phone is said to come with a similar design as the Xperia 5 II with 21:9 aspect ratio screen, triple rear cameras, a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner, and a dedicated camera shutter button. Redmi 9 Prime Review: Prime Contender Under Rs. 10,000

Lately in India, the prices of smartphones are increasing and are largely due to factors like the COVID-19 pandemic, GST Rate Hike from 12% to 18%, supply shortage, INR depreciation against the US Dollar amongst others. In 2019, we saw smartphones that offered great value for money under Rs. 10,000 like the Redmi Note 8, but gradually the price was increased up to 25% as well. Fast-forward to 2020, the choice of smartphones with good performance under Rs. 10,000 has become limited and the price ladder has now moved up to Rs. 12,000. Amidst this, recently, Redmi launched its Redmi 9 Prime smartphone starting at Rs. 9999 bringing back the Prime series after quite a long gap. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched Redmi 9, the company’s latest budget Redmi smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.53-inch HD+ HD+ 20:9 Dot Drop screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 out of the box, features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro launching in India on September 3

After teasers, realme has confirmed that realme 7 and realme 7 Pro smartphones will be launched in India on September 3rd. The teaser shows a punch-hole display and 65W Super Dart fast charging for the realme 7 Pro. The company has also confirmed 2nd Generation 64MP Quad Camera arrangement for the phones. Nubia RedMagic 5S with 6.65-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 5G global pre-orders begin, rolls out from Sep 2

ZTE’s nubia brand introduced the nubia RedMagic 5S flagship smartphone in China back in June. Today it has started pre-orders for the phone for the global markets at redmagic.gg and it will roll out in countries such as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Macao, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and United Arab Emirates starting from September 2nd. No details about the launch of the phone in other Asian countries such as India, and North American regions such as the USA and Canada.
