It has 3.8-inch ultrasharp screen with high resolution display with Gorilla glass protection and is powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. HTC One X, One S and One V price and release date revealed for UK

HTC unveiled their One series of Android smartphones,  HTC One X, One S and One V earlier today. Clove UK has revealed the price and the launch date for these phones and are taking pre-orders for these devices. HTC One V with 1 GHz processor, 3.7-inch display announced


HTC has announced the HTC One V in the HTC One series of smartphones with Beats audio. It has 3.7-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 5MP camera with auto focus, smart LED flash, and BSI sensor (for better low-light captures) and 720p HD video recording. Orange unveils first Android powered Intel Medfield handset

Orange just announced its first Medfield powered handset dubbed the Santa Clara. The Intel chipset powered phone will run on the Android platform. A 1024×600 resolution 4″ panel can be found on the handset alongside an 8MP snapper capable of capturing 1080p video.

Sony Xperia U announced with 3.5-inch display and 1 GHz Dual-core processor

Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia U. It has similar design as the Sony Xperia S but it is a mid-end smartphone. It has 3.5-inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and 1 GHz dual-core processor. It is NFC enabled and has changable colour caps at the bottom of the phone. It has xLoud and 3D surround sound audio technology for crisp and loud listening. The transparent element illuminates to match the colour of photos viewed in the gallery or the album art of music tracks currently playing. Nokia Asha 302 hands-on images leaked

Nokia Asha 302 hands-on images has leaked ahead of the MWC. It has a Full QWERTY keyboard and is said to run on the Series 40 OS like the other Asha phone that were announced at the Nokia World last year. It would also feature a 3.2 megapixel camera at the back. It has a Nokia BL-5J 1320mAh battery. It looks like it has a metal back cover. More images after the break. Hands On : Huawei Ascend D quad ( Update : Video )

Huawei is making its intentions to join the big league quite clear with the launch of the Ascend D quad. Straight off the bat , the excellent display and good build quality makes us a feel a bit reassured that Huawei might be onto something here.

While not a Super AMOLED panel , the display on the Ascend D is easily one of the most impressive ones out there. Viewing angles are excellent and so is color rendition. The 1280×720 resolution panel is 4.5″ in size while remaining extremely comfortable to hold. Huawei calls the Ascend D the most comfortable phone to hold in its class.

The textured back of the handset is particularly easy to grip. The software build on the handset was stock ICS which is pretty good news in our opinion. There were no slow downs at all in our brief time with the phone and everything worked as expected.

Ascend D quad is powered by Huawei’s own K3V2 quadcore processor

I had thought of many unexpected things to be revealed at the MWC, but I never thought that Huawei will be bringing a super phone (Ascend D quad) running on a quadcore processor manufactured by themselves. Wow, and they are calling this process the fastest processor up to date and it might be true.

Huawei has announced the Huawei Ascend D, that they claim to be the world’s fastest smartphone. It comes with 4.5-inch 720P high definition IPS+ touchscreen display with 330 PPI and Huawei’s K3V2 quad-core 1.2GHz / 1.5GHz processor that has 16 core GPU that offers 2X performance. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 8MP BSI rear-facing camera with 1080p full HD video-capture and 1.3MP front-facing camera.It has Huawei’s proprietary power management system which provides up to 30% in energy savings and has Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
