Samsung Power Pack EBB-U10 for Galaxy S is out

According to German site MobiFlip , Samsung has released a power pack or extended battery for the Galaxy S under the name EBB-U10. It will certainly make your phone look less sexy but if you want the promised extra 8.5 hours of talk time then it’s well worth it ! Its not clear if you have to replace the back cover of your phone with this pack or if this fits into the microUSB port on the top. Price or Availability is not known

Sony Ericsson Elm is the most Eco-Friendly phone according to O2 UK’s new Eco rating scheme

You must have heard about Sony Ericsson’s Green heart family of devices which are made of recycled materials. The Elm which is a member of the Green heart range has been picked as the most eco-friendly phone according to a new Eco rating scheme from UK mobile operator O2 . The Elm emerged as a winner amongst 65 phones from 6 phone makers including Nokia, HTC, LG, Samsung and Palm.Surprisingly Apple refused to take part and so the iPhones were not part of the exercise

Nokia N8 India Launch in mid-September

Nokia India has announced on Twitter that the Nokia N8 – 12 MP Camera phone is launching in India in mid-September. Some of our sources are saying that it will go on sale during Nokia World 2010 in some countries. Some are pointing to a Sep 23rd Release date for India. The expected price is around Rs.22000- 25000 ! Are you looking forward to the N8 ?

Windows Phone 7 Browser Compared on Video, seems impressive !

The folks at PocketNow have an interesting video about the browser on Windows Phone 7 . They managed to get their hands on a LG Fanthom Prototype device. Neither the hardware or software is final but still it looks pretty good. We really love the way the tabs work and the way tabs can keep downloading content in the background.
