Anssi Vanjoki who is currently heading the Nokia Mobile Solutions unit has resigned from the company. It is important to note that he was the same took responsibility of the Fight Back by the Finnish phone maker. Did Anssi resign due to the failure of the N97 or was he upset at OPK’s removal ?

Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo who is currently the CEO of Nokia will quit from his position and exit the Nokia board on Sept 20 this year. Stephen Elop who is currently heading the Business Division of Microsoft will take up the role of President and CEO of Nokia on Sept 21.It’s kinda shocking to see that OPK is not even in the Nokia board anymore. He only has a non-executive capacity in the board of Nokia Siemens Networks. Looks like he was forced to quit to keep the shareholders happy. BestBoyz has posted leaked image of what looks like the upcoming HTC Desire HD . As you can see in the image , it is running on something similar to Windows Mobile 6.5 and the Desire HD might be a HD2 successor if this is true.Specs we have heard earlier include a 8MP Camera , 4.3 inch Display and 8GB inbuilt memory . We really hope this device runs on Android as expected before.

While the normal search process involves Type and search , the new Instant search works like Search before you type. Samsung has finally officially launched the Galaxy Tab Android Tablet in IFA in Berlin, Germany. The Galaxy Tab will be running on Android 2.2 sports a 7 inch Display and support 3G , HSPA Networks , WiFi (n) and Bluetooth 3.0. It is powered by a 1 GHz Processor and is expected to hit Europe in mid-September. Pricing is not yet known.

Huawei has launched a new Android Phone called the IDEOS running on Froyo or Android 2.2. The phone has been developed in partnership with Google and would be released in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and Latin America.The company is aiming to redefine the meaning of an entry level smartphone with the IDEOS. The phone would be priced between $100-$200 depending on the market.
