Apple is all set to introduce iPhone X at an event in Cupertino, California later today. Qualcomm has teased the phone saying that Qualcomm has enabled some of the world’s first notable features on Android with the list of devices with features such as facial recognition, dual camera tech, bezel-less OLED screen and more that are expected to be present in the iPhone X.

Samsung just launched the flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity Display and comes with 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom and OIS for both. It has Iris scanner, fingerprint sensor as well as heart rate monitor, similar to the predecessor and is also water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes with IP68 ratings. Qualcomm and Nokia have announced plans to conduct interoperability testing and over-the-air field trials based on the 5G New Radio (NR) Release-15 specifications being developed by 3GPP. Qualcomm also introduced 5G NR mmWave prototype system, which operates in millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum bands above 24 GHz and released a white paper on “Addressing the strong mobile broadband demand in 2019 & beyond”. BlackBerry introduced Priv as the company’s first Android smartphone with a slide-out Keyboard back in October 2015 running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and it was launched in India in January last year at a hefty price tag. Xiaomi today unveiled the Mi MIX 2 smartphone at an event in China. Manu Jain, Group Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India just tweeted that the company will be launching it in India soon, even though the company did not bring its first Mi Mix to India. Airtel has launched Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services in India starting from Mumbai, as expected, making it the second operator in the country to offer VoLTE after Reliance Jio. This lets Airtel customers enjoy HD quality voice calls along with faster call set up time compared to normal voice calls on their VoLTE-compatible 4G handsets. Airtel already offers 4G Advanced Carrier Aggregation technology in Mumbai that offers data speeds of up to 135 Mbps by combining spectrum capacities in 2300MHz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE). It has a 5.99-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display with ultra narrow bezels, unlike the 6.4-inch display on the first generation Mi MIX with 17:9 aspect ratio and 12% smaller chin compared to the predecessor. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile platform with 6GB of RAM and there is also a Special Edition with 8GB of RAM. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor and a 5-megapixel camera on the front on the right bottom that also supports face recognition. Moto G5S Plus, an enhanced version of the Moto G5 Plus was launched in India last week for Rs. 15,999 exclusively on Amazon.in. We recently brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have some camera samples from the phone. Unlike the single 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture on the G5 Plus, this has 13-megapixel dual rear cameras one with monochrome lens and the other one with RGB lens, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

Now it has revealed that it will also introduce Mi Note 3, smartphone, successor of last year’s Mi Note 2 along with it.
