Vivo just launched V7+, the company’s latest mid-range selfie-focused smartphone in India. It has a 5.99-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio, narrow bezels and 84.4% screen-to-body ratio and a 24-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, Face Beauty 7.0 and Portrait mode. OnePlus has finally started testing Android 8.0 (Oreo) for its OnePlus 3 smartphone, according to Android Police. OnePlus founder and CEO, Pete Lau already confirmed that the OnePlus 3 and 3T will get Android Oreo update later this year and recently the company’s Head of Product said that Android O will be the last Android version update the phones will get.

Along with the V9 Play, Huawei’s Honor Brand also introduced Honor Play 6, a budget smartphone with 4G VoLTE support. It is Chinese version of the Y5 2017 that was introduced earlier this year that packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 2GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1, has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED fash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has soft LED flash. At the Lenovo K8 Plus launch event Anuj Sharma, Product Marketing Head, Lenovo MBG India said that the company will launch the K8 smartphone in the country soon. It will have a 5.2-inch HD screen, will be powered by MediaTek Helio P20 SoC and run Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) stock Android.

After confirming that it is working on Twitter-like Business features, Facebook-owned WhatsApp has announced that it its testing new tools through a closed pilot program that will allow people to communicate with the businesses they want to reach on WhatsApp. Business accounts will have a verified profile with a green badge so people can identify a business from another person so it will be easier to respond to messages.
