Facebook has released a new Creator app for video creators to take on YouTube. It is the same Mentions app that was introduced for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles back in 2014. This has been rebranded to Creator and can be used by all individuals on pages or profiles. OnePlus released Android 8.0 (Oreo) Open Beta for OnePlus 3 and 3T last month and said that it will release the update for its OnePlus 5 users soon. Yesterday at the OnePlus 5T launch event Brian Yoon, Head of user experience design division at OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will get the Android Oreo Open Beta update this November. He also said that there are over 250 closed beta testers and over 15,000 open beta testers. Apple releases iOS 11.1.2 with fix for unresponsive iPhone X screens in cold weather

Apple released iOS 11.1.1 update for iPhone and iPad last week to fix an autocorrect bug that caused “i” to autocorrect to A[?] in the keyboard. Now it has pushed out iOS 11.1.2 update that fixes iPhone X screen becoming temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment and working only after several seconds, as reported by a lot of users last week. Apple was quick to acknowledge the issues and promised a fix.

OnePlus just introduced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone at an event in  Brooklyn, New York as it had promised. It has a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and with DCI-P3 color coverage, compared to the 5.5-inch 1080p screen on the OnePlus 5 , but body is almost same. Since it has a large screen, it doesn’t have a home button and ceramic fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. Telegram has updated its app to version 4.5 that brings several new features. Now when you send or receive a collection of photos or videos, they will automatically be grouped together as an album, creating a tile display within your messages. Each album can include up to 10 photos or videos.
