OnePlus 5T with 6.01-inch full-screen display, dual rear cameras launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 32999

OnePlus 5T

OnePlus just introduced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone at an event in  Brooklyn, New York as it had promised. It has a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5% screen-to-body ratio and with DCI-P3 color coverage, compared to the 5.5-inch 1080p screen on the OnePlus 5 , but body is almost same. Since it has a large screen, it doesn’t have a home button and ceramic fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back to unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds.

It has the same 16-megapixel primary rear camera with wide-angle lens and large f/1.7 aperture, but the OnePlus 5’s telephoto lens has been replaced by 20-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture for better low-light photography and improved depth-of-field (bokeh) effect that blurs backdrops in portrait mode and offers crisp zoom. It has the same 16-megapixel front-facing camera, but this has new face recognition feature to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS 4.7 that brings new features like Parallel Apps, Gallery Map and several customizations.

Other things are similar to the OnePlus 5, including an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design, Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 6GB / 8GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage based on UFS 2.1, coupled with 2-lane ROM and a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge that promises a day of battery life with half an hour of charge.
