Apple released iOS 11.1.1 update for iPhone and iPad last week to fix an autocorrect bug that caused “i” to autocorrect to A[?] in the keyboard. Now it has pushed out iOS 11.1.2 update that fixes iPhone X screen becoming temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment and working only after several seconds, as reported by a lot of users last week. Apple was quick to acknowledge the issues and promised a fix.

The update also addresses an issue in Live Photos and videos on iPhone X that appear distorted. Check out the complete changelog below.

iOS 11.1.2 includes bug fixes for your iPhone and iPad. This update:

  • Fixes an issue where the iPhone X screen becomes temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid temperature drop
  • Addresses an issue that could cause distortion in Live Photos and videos captured with iPhone X

The iOS 11.1.2 update is about 51.4MB in size that varies depending on the device and is already available over-the-air (OTA). Apple is currently beta testing iOS 11.2 with developers and public beta testers and is expected to roll out for all next month.
